Terms and Conditions for Driving Lessons, SGI 6 & 6 Training, and 6 hours online class.

Thank you for choosing Faizan’s Defensive Driving School. These terms and conditions help keep the training organized, safe, and fair for all students.

By registering for our online class, SGI 6 & 6 training, 6 hours online class. In-car driving lessons, you agree to the following terms.

1. Registration and Payment

All fees must be paid in full at the time of registration to reserve your seat or lesson time, unless other arrangements have been approved by the instructor.

Your registration is confirmed only after payment has been received.

2. 6-Hour Online Classroom Training

To participate in the 6-hour online classroom session, students must meet the following requirements:

  • You must have a valid Saskatchewan learner’s licence.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to take the SGI 6 & 6 driver training course or the 6-hour online class.
  • Students should be able to understand English, as the online class is usually taught in English.

3. Online Class Attendance

Students are expected to attend the full 6-hour online class.

If you miss your online class, you will need to make it up in a future available class. We will provide you with the next available class options.

There is no extra payment for making up a missed online class, but students must attend a future scheduled session to complete the requirement.

4. Refund Policy

For the full SGI 6 & 6 course/training:

If a refund is requested before the course or lessons begin, an $80 administration fee will be deducted from the refund.

Once the course or driving lessons have started, no refunds will be issued.

For the 6-hour online class only:

If a refund is requested before the class begins, a $30 administration fee will be deducted from the refund.

5. Driver Education Certificates

The first Driver Education Certificate is included in the course fee.

If the original certificate is lost, damaged, or misplaced, a duplicate certificate may be issued for $25, including GST and regular Canada Post mailing.

Please allow 3–5 business days for processing, plus mailing time. Tracked or expedited delivery will cost extra.

There is no replacement fee if the original certificate contains an error made by Faizan’s Defensive Driving School or was not delivered.

6. In-Car Driving Lessons

Faizan’s Defensive Driving School provides a training vehicle for in-car driving lessons.

Our vehicle is equipped with dual brakes for student safety, instructor safety, and the safety of others on the road.

We also offer free pickup and drop-off within city limits, where available.

If you live outside Regina or Moose Jaw, you may need to travel to Regina or Moose Jaw to complete your in-car driving lessons.

7. SGI Lesson Limit

According to SGI policy, a maximum of 2 hours of in-car driving lessons can be provided per day.

No other passengers are allowed in the vehicle during the lesson unless approved by the instructor.

8. What to Bring to Each Driving Lesson

Students must bring the required identification to every in-car lesson.

Please bring:

  • Your valid Saskatchewan learner’s licence

Or, if applicable:

  • Your Saskatchewan ID and international driver’s licence

Lessons may not proceed if the student does not bring the required licence or identification.

9. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows

Students must provide at least 24 hours’ notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an in-car driving lesson.

If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the following fee may apply:

Late cancellation fee: $85

If a student does not show up for a scheduled lesson, the following fee may apply:

No-show fee: $85

Missed in-car lessons will not be scheduled again until any outstanding balance has been paid.

10. Traffic Laws and Tickets

Students must follow all traffic laws while driving the training vehicle.

Students are responsible for any fines, tickets, or traffic violations that occur while they are operating the vehicle.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Speeding tickets
  • Red-light camera tickets
  • Traffic camera violations
  • Parking or traffic-related fines

11. Vehicle Damage, Incidents, or Accidents

Safety is always our top priority.

If an incident, accident, or vehicle damage occurs while the student is operating the vehicle and the student is found to be at fault, the student is responsible for the related costs.

This may include:

  • SGI insurance deductible
  • Vehicle repair costs
  • Damage to another person’s property
  • Any additional costs related to the incident

Each situation will be reviewed carefully based on the circumstances.

12. Instructor Cancellations or Rescheduling

If Faizan’s Defensive Driving School needs to cancel or reschedule an in-car lesson, your instructor will contact you as soon as possible.

In this case, you will not be charged a cancellation or rescheduling fee.

13. Student Agreement

By registering with Faizan’s Defensive Driving School, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
